Refund policy

Last Updated: August 2026

This website is operated by Kodiak Labs Ltd, trading as CBERUS.

We want you to shop with confidence. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our Returns & Refunds Policy below.

30-Day Refund Returns

For eligible unwanted purchases, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the terms below and your statutory consumer rights.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • You must notify us of your decision to cancel or return the order within the applicable return period.

  • The item must be returned in a condition consistent with what is reasonably necessary to inspect and establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.

  • Original packaging, accessories, manuals and other included contents should be returned where applicable.

  • The item must not have been damaged or modified after delivery, except where permitted under your statutory rights.

If an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund for any resulting reduction in value, where permitted by law.

Important: Your statutory rights may provide a separate or longer period for certain returns, including the right to cancel qualifying online purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

45-Day Store Credit Returns

If you are outside our 30-day change-of-mind refund period, you may still be eligible to return an eligible item for store credit within 45 days of delivery, subject to our approval and the conditions of this policy.

Store credit:

  • Will normally be issued for the value of the returned item, taking account of any lawful deductions where applicable.

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

  • Cannot be transferred to another customer.

  • Can be used towards future purchases from CBERUS.

The 45-day store credit option is an additional benefit offered by CBERUS. It does not replace or restrict any statutory consumer rights, including rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

How to Start a Return

Before returning an item, please contact us with:

  • Your order number.

  • The item or items you wish to return.

  • The reason for the return.

  • Details of any fault or issue, where applicable.

Once your return has been reviewed, we will provide the relevant return instructions.

Please contact us before sending an item back wherever possible, as this helps us process your return efficiently. However, this request does not restrict any statutory cancellation or return rights you may have.

Condition & Pre-Owned Items

Many products sold by CBERUS are pre-owned, refurbished, used, collectible, vintage, or sold as spares or repairs.

Customers should carefully review:

  • Product descriptions.

  • Product photographs.

  • Product condition grades.

  • Any listed faults or defects.

  • Included and missing accessories.

  • Our Condition Guide, where applicable.

Normal signs of previous use that have been accurately and clearly disclosed in the product listing will be taken into account when assessing the item's condition.

For unwanted returns, a refund may be reduced where the item's value has been diminished through handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect and establish its condition, where permitted by law.

The fact that an item is pre-owned, refurbished or discounted does not remove your statutory rights. Nothing in this section affects your legal entitlement to an appropriate remedy.

Trading Cards & Collectibles

Due to the nature of collectible trading cards and other collectibles, individual items may be graded or described according to our published condition standards.

A return based solely on disagreement with an accurately disclosed condition grade or description may not establish that the item is faulty or misdescribed. However, this does not prevent you from exercising any applicable cancellation rights or other statutory rights.

If a card or collectible has been incorrectly described, is materially different from the listing, or arrives damaged, please contact us so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

For sealed products, we recommend keeping the product sealed if you are considering returning it due to a change of mind. Opening or handling a product may affect its resale value and, where legally permitted, the amount refundable. This does not automatically remove any statutory rights you may have.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or materially different from its description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask you to provide:

  • Your order number.

  • A description of the issue.

  • Clear photographs or videos showing the problem, where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, available remedies may include:

  • A repair.

  • A replacement.

  • A price reduction or partial refund, where appropriate.

  • A full refund.

  • Another remedy required by applicable law.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, your statutory rights determine which remedies are available and when. Store credit will not be substituted for a statutory refund where a refund is legally required.

Reporting an issue promptly helps us resolve it efficiently, but nothing in this policy makes prompt reporting a condition for exercising a statutory right where the law does not require it.

Items Sold as Faulty, Untested, or for Spares & Repairs

Some products may be specifically listed as:

  • Faulty.

  • Untested.

  • For parts.

  • Spares or repairs.

  • Non-working.

  • Sold as-is.

These products are sold based on the condition, faults and information stated in the individual product listing.

Customers purchasing such items should understand that they may require repair, replacement components, diagnosis or other work before they can operate normally.

Any known faults, missing components or significant defects identified in the listing should be taken into consideration before purchase.

The description of an item as faulty, untested or for spares and repairs does not automatically exclude all consumer rights. Any agreed condition or defect will be taken into account when assessing whether the item conforms to the contract, but statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited remain unaffected.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for unwanted or change-of-mind returns where permitted by law and where the applicable return terms have been communicated to them.

CBERUS will cover reasonable return shipping costs where appropriate when:

  • The item is faulty and the law requires us to cover the cost.

  • The item arrived damaged.

  • An incorrect item was sent.

  • The item is materially different from its description.

  • We are otherwise required to do so under applicable law.

For statutory cancellation returns, return postage costs may depend on the circumstances and whether the customer was properly informed of any obligation to pay them.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of postage. For returns arranged by the customer, we cannot accept responsibility for loss in transit where the law does not require us to do so.

Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued. This is an estimate of payment-provider processing time and does not extend any statutory refund deadline.

Where a refund is due under your statutory rights, we will process it in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

For qualifying statutory cancellation returns, standard delivery charges may also be refundable. Additional delivery costs selected by the customer above the least expensive standard delivery option may not be refundable where the law permits this.

Order Cancellations

If you change your mind about an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order has not yet been dispatched, we will normally try to cancel it and issue a refund.

Once an order has been dispatched, you may still have a statutory right to cancel a qualifying online purchase. If so, the cancellation and return will be handled in accordance with the applicable law and this policy.

Certain goods may be exempt from statutory cancellation rights, including specific categories of personalised goods or sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the relevant legal conditions are met.

Nothing in this section removes any cancellation rights that apply to your order.

Items Returned Damaged or Incomplete

Returned items should include the components and accessories supplied with the order, where applicable.

If an item is returned with missing components, accessories or other included items, or has been damaged through handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund where permitted by law.

Any deduction will be assessed according to the circumstances and the applicable legal requirements. This section does not affect your statutory rights.

Statutory Rights

This Returns & Refunds Policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Depending on the circumstances, your rights may include remedies for goods that are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described, as well as cancellation rights for qualifying online purchases.

Where this policy and your statutory rights differ, your statutory rights will take precedence.
